Altamont Court Hotel - Kingston

The location was virtually the same as much higher priced hotels in New Kingston. This hotel was clean, nice and safe. It offers free breakfast -both traditional Jamaican and typical eggs and bacon. It has a lush garden setting.

I liked the food at the hotel.

In my opinion the service was poor because I had to call the front office five times to advise them that there was ants in our bathroom. My five year daughter is allergic to ants. The room was not clean upon arrival on the first day, we had a housekeeper to wipe the floor because it was filthy. The bathroom was filty, there were stains on the sheets. I would hear staff in the kitchen making noise early in the morning. There was no consideration that guest were sleeping at 5 or 6 am in the morning. Each morning I was awaken around 5 or 6am with noise outside of my window coming from the restaurant area. The cable television did work completely. I would not stay at the hotel again. Myself and mother mother was very dissatisfied with the hotel.

The front desk staff, especially Crystal were friendly but professional. Dyawne in the restuarant was a nice server.

The restaurant, food was good and the restaurant staff were very friendly. On Sunday, they were not as friendly, different set.

Room was not clean. Bathroom was horrible. I sat on toilet paper and actually cleaned the toilet cover. It was old, but needed more attention to details. The ice bucket had cigarette ashes and was not cleaned. The room was hot, they turn off the AC and it took several hours to get the room cool. Pool was not working.

What I like the most was the Friendly and Helpful staff.

Not enough variety of food and combination of food.

Less expensive choice for business travellers in comparison to other hotels in the location

Overall service and hospitality of the staff. Location is very good as well. Enjoyed the Jamaican breakfast being included in the price. Room was clean and in good shape.

Appeared to be difficult to charge my room for dinner one night. It took me almost 30 mins to exit the restaurant as my waitress disappeared for some reason as I waited to pay my bill. I actually left since I had a visitor waiting in the lobby for me during that time.

It was good value for the money and it mainly catered to the local population on a trip. So you could eat Jamaican food or North American type food. Everything worked the way it should. I would stay here again.

I would prefer for each room to have a smaii fridge and microwave in it.

Nice clean room. Good food at restaurant. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. If you need an affordable room near the center of Kingston and the airport, this is a good choice

The location and price were right for what I needed.

The beds were really hard.

Altamont Court rooms was clean and spacious, friendly staff and great management. At Altamont court you can breathe the fresh air due to the enviroment around with your gardens. The Food at the inhouse restaurant was great. There was also much security so you feel safe with your stay at night.

Your desk staff needs to be better train in terms of dealing with situation arrising at the hotel. I also think that for breakfast on mornings should be buffet style as it take the staff to long to serve your guess on mornings.some would have tight schedules on mornings.

The air condition in my room didn't work had to open tthe windo foor air and the was no bath towel in my room only drying-off towel

It was pleasant but not a brilliant view for the presidential suite. Couldnt swim in pool or jacuzzi as both were being cleaned.

The staff really went out of their way to deal with any problems we had during our visit. The food was great. Really enjoyed the inclusive breakfast that offered some local fare.
